This means perishable items, such as meats and dairy products, must be stored at or below 41°F (5°C), and frozen items must be stored at or below 0°F (-18°C). 

Labeling food items with their name, preparation dates, and the expiration date is also vital. This helps ensure that food is used before it lapses, reducing the risk of foodborne illness. Ensure your staff follows FIFO (first-in-first-out) to ensure you're serving only the best products.  

Conduct Regular Inspections 

Inspections allow you to assess your establishment's overall food safety practices and identify areas that need improvement. This should be conducted regularly by restaurant staff and external health inspectors.
