HUNTSMAN RESOURCES LAUNCHES PROSPECTUS TO LIST ON ASX

  • Gold mining company with a highly prospective Project portfolio including sites located in Western Australia (WA) and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)
  • Exemplary management team with extensive and demonstrable track record of experience in gold exploration, development and mining
  • Future strategy for growth with further exploration and development opportunities in WA and the DRC

Huntsman Resources Limited (“Huntsman”) is pleased to announce the successful lodgement of its Prospectus with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the commencement of the Company’s showcase presentations to launch its Prospectus in order to raise up to $4.5 million.

The Prospectus offers 22.5 million shares at an issue price of $0.20 cents per share to raise up to $4.5 million with a minimum share subscription of $3.5 million representing the issuing of 17.5 million shares at $0.20 cents.

Huntsman is an Australian incorporated and based mineral exploration company with two distinct exploration projects in the DRC and WA. The Mambasa Project is in the Mambasa District, Ituri Province of the DRC and is the subject of a Joint Venture Agreement. The Crackerjack Project is 100% Company owned and is near Halls Creek in the north-west of Western Australia.

In commenting on Huntsman’s Prospectus launch and highly experienced Board, Nigel Ferguson, Managing Director of Huntsman Resources, said:

“We are very pleased to be in the process of transitioning into a listed company and will continue to work with enthusiasm and dedication in order to reach this key company milestone.

“The Company has assembled a highly skilled team that specialise in the identification, exploration and discovery of gold systems, with particular experience and success in the DRC and Australia.

“It is the strength and experience of these key team members that provides Huntsman with a solid foundation on which to explore and secure lucrative Project sites within the DRC and WA’s well-endowed gold districts.

“Securing the services of industry heavy weight, Klaus Eckhof as Chairman of Huntsman, gives us a quantum lift in demonstrating how to find gold and mine it with the great success he has already demonstrated in the DRC.”

Huntsman will begin its roadshow presentation showcase in Melbourne and Sydney in week beginning 23rd January.

Huntsman’s Crackerjack Project is located approximately 85 kilometres south-west of Halls Creek in the Kimberley District of Western Australia and is approximately 3.5 km south of the historical Mount Dockrell Mine and close to other known gold occurrences and significant high-grade gold drill intersections.

The Mambasa Project was targeted due to the country’s impressive exploration potential; with favourable stratigraphic and structural settings similar to other large-scale gold deposits within the region including AngloGold Ashanti's Gieta (20Moz) mine in Tanzania and Loncor Resources Inc's recently defined Makapela (1Moz) and Adumbi (1.9Moz) gold projects.

The Mambasa Project has been secured by Huntsman as its flagship project and is at a greenfields stage of exploration and contains several historical colonial gold workings and current artisanal gold workings over 600m length and 25m in depth.
