Two of Partners Wealth Group’s Advisors named in Financial Standard Power 50

Partners Wealth Group (PWG), one of Australia’s leading providers of independent business and financial advisory services, have had two advisors make the Financial Standard Power 50, Managing Director, Mathew Cassidy and Strategic Wealth Advisor, Laurence Poulter.

The Financial Standard Power 50 recognises the 50 most influential advisers in the country who are instrumental in shaping the future of financial advice.

Cassidy has worked within the industry for 25 years and was one of the original founders of PWG. He was recently ranked seventh in the Barron's Top 100 Financial Advisors for 2021 and this is his second time being named in the Power 50, having debuted on the list in 2020.

Poulter has been a strategic wealth advisor with PWG for more than 8 years and is responsible for leading the firm’s NSW operations, including the day-to-day delivery of advice in his role as Head of Bentleys Wealth Advisors’. This is Poulter’s first appearance on the list.

PWG is dedicated to empowering its team to grow within the industry and is committed to making a difference within the field of wealth management.

Cassidy said: “It’s great to be recognised alongside Laurence as leaders in the industry. With a proven track record, national presence and strong financial backing, we offer clients confidence in securing their financial future, so it’s great to be recognised for our work.

We pride ourselves on providing outstanding services not only to our clients, but also for our employees and we feel honoured to have someone of Laurence’s calibre climb the ranks within the industry and I hope to see more of our advisors on the list in the coming years.”

Poulter said “I was surprised and humbled to be nominated, and the response I have received from my clients and colleagues has been amazing. It has really reinforced the value that we deliver as advisors, and the genuine connections we make with people along the way. I love what I do and passionately believe that truly integrated wealth and accounting advice can change lives.”

PWG is a leading full service financial advisory firm with offices across Melbourne, Sydney and Perth offering strategic financial advice, wealth creation, investment and retirement planning, superannuation and SMSF, lending and finance, insurance, and legal solutions.

They empower clients to unlock a world of possibilities, offering advice to assist at every stage of life. In an increasingly complex world, they provide a straightforward and trusted voice, translating the technical into the simple.
