Geely-backed battery maker ENERGEE makes its Australian debut at All Energy

Geely Holding Group subsidiary ENERGEE is making its Australian debut at All Energy Australia 2026, presenting its electric vehicle battery technology, battery management systems and energy storage solutions in Melbourne.
The company is exhibiting at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 28–29 October 2026, introducing its Golden Brick Battery and Matchless Battery to Australian businesses. For ENERGEE, the show provides an opportunity to connect with vehicle manufacturers, fleet operators and energy storage developers in a market investing in electrification and renewable power.
A vehicle people can recognise
Company specifications for the Australian-market ZEEKR 7X 75 kWh RWD state that its 75 kWh Golden Brick Battery uses an 800 V high-voltage battery system with a maximum charging power of 450 kW, enabling the vehicle to add 190 km of driving range in 5 minutes and 330 km in 10 minutes. According to the official Australian specifications, the 75 kWh RWD version achieves a 10%–80% charge in approximately 10.5 minutes under specified conditions.
While the ZEEKR 7X is a recognisable example, it represents only part of ENERGEE’s mobility business. The Golden Brick Battery portfolio also covers battery applications for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), super hybrids, conventional hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), light commercial vehicles and heavy trucks. In addition to the ZEEKR 7X, selected Geely and smart models in other markets are also equipped with the Golden Brick Battery.

From mobility to energy storage
ENERGEE is extending its battery expertise beyond the vehicle market. Its Matchless Battery range comprises lithium iron phosphate (LFP) prismatic cells for energy storage applications: residential, commercial and industrial, and utility-scale energy storage projects. This range features flagship 100 Ah and 314 Ah cells that cover the full spectrum of these energy storage scenarios with a focus on whole-of-life cost efficiency; the cells have passed 5 times rated voltage overcharge tests and full nail penetration tests, achieving no fire or explosion and delivering industry-leading safety performance.

The company also offers a self-developed BMS platform. ENERGEE says it conducts hundreds of battery-state scans each second and has millisecond-level safety response capabilities. Its technical description references ASIL D functional-safety capabilities.
Taken together, the portfolio gives ENERGEE several possible routes into Australian industry.
What an Australian debut means
Headquartered in Quzhou, Zhejiang, ENERGEE is a first-tier subsidiary of Geely Holding Group. It operates 10 intelligent manufacturing bases and 3 R&D institutes across China. Golden Brick Battery focuses on passenger and commercial vehicles, including battery-swapping applications, while Matchless Battery serves the stationary energy storage market.

Bringing these comprehensive capabilities to Australian audiences at the exhibition, ENERGEE showcases its advanced battery technology for mobility and energy storage, earning positive recognition from the industry. For potential Australian partners, the portfolio offers an overview of ENERGEE’s capabilities across battery cell development, battery management and energy storage applications. Its Melbourne debut marks a step in presenting those technologies to Australia’s growing clean-energy sector.
