IWG opens new Spaces in Partnership with Pelligra

  • Written by Business Daily Media

IWG, the world’s largest flexible workspace company with brands including Spaces and Regus, is opening  a state-of-the-art flexible workspace in Mawson Lakes, SA  as the demand for hybrid working rapidly accelerates.

The new centre is a partnership between major developer, Pelligra Group, and IWG’s Spaces brand. The facilities will include private offices, meeting rooms, co-working and creative spaces.

The 8-storey building will provide space for established firms and start-ups across a range of industries including local defence and aerospace, technology, communications and education, while IWG’s Design Your Own Office service allows companies to tailor their space entirely to their requirements.

Mawson Lakes is one of South Australia’s fastest growing regional centres, housing a technology park, University of South Australia, central public transport hub and a golf course. Demand for new workspaces in the area has performed strongly in 2022, with the number of enquiries for space in IWG locations continuing to increase.

With unprecedented demand from companies and workers looking for hybrid working solutions, IWG aims to add 1,000 new locations over the next year, and 40 in Australia. Hybrid working offers companies a significantly lower cost base with an average saving of $14,300 per employee.[1]

Damien Sheehan, IWG Country Head Australia, commented: “We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in the Mawson Lakes region with the latest commitment. As important business hubs these locations are a fantastic place for us to boost our expansion plans. The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal.

Our latest openings come at a time when more and more companies are discovering that flexible working boosts employee happiness and satisfaction, while helping the environment. Our workplace model is also proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs.”

Ross Pelligra, Chairman of Pelligra Group, said: “Pelligra and our partners One-7 look forward to welcoming IWG co-working group to our newest Holiday Inn Hotel and Commercial development in Mawson Lakes, South Australia – due for completion in Q1 2024. We continue to see demand increase for serviced offices and hot-desking space in suburban areas, catering to changing workplace environments, enhanced by the urban sprawl and future-industries boom occurring in Adelaide’s mid-north.

We are confident that IWG’s global network and premium product and services will cater well to the diversity of the professional trade area market in and around Mawson Lakes.

IWG’s multi-brand expansion strategy is designed to appeal to every type of business and entrepreneur. With 3,500 locations in 120 countries, the company already counts 83 per cent of Fortune 500 companies among its customer base.

IWG creates personal, financial, and strategic value for businesses of every size, from some of the most exciting companies and well-known organisations on the planet, to individuals and the next generation of industry leaders. All of them harness the power of flexible working to increase their productivity, efficiency, agility, and market proximity.
