Appointment of Jessica Renton signifies strategic move from essential product manufacturer to enhance operations, drive growth and improve customer experience

Kimberly-Clark Australia (K-CA), one of the nation’s leading personal care product manufacturers, has announced the appointment of Jessica Renton as its new Head of Supply Chain.

Breaking down barriers and gender-based sector stereotypes, Renton comes with nearly two decades of supply chain expertise across manufacturing, FMCG, retail and healthcare. She initially joined Kimberly-Clark Australia as Logistics and Operations Manager in March 2023, swiftly taking increased accountability of planning and safety  just six months later.

Since her arrival, Renton has been instrumental in enhancing supply chain operations - focusing on inventory management, sales and operational planning, supply and demand planning, safety protocols, and logistics - and she played a vital role in the opening of K-CA’s state-of-the-art distribution centre in Victoria in March.

As Head of Supply Chain, Renton will spearhead the transformation of K-CA’s supply network, playing a pivotal role in enhancing customer service and unlocking further growth for the business and its portfolio of personal care brands - including Huggies,  U by Kotex, Poise, and Depend .

Based at the company’s headquarters in North Sydney, Renton will join Kimberly Clark’s leadership team for the ANZ region effective immediately.

Commenting on the company’s latest appointment, Driscoll said:

“Over the past eighteen months, Jess’ extensive expertise and exceptional leadership skills have enabled her to make a significant impact on our supply chain operations, and it’s for this reason that I'm delighted to welcome her to the role of Head of Supply Chain for the ANZ region.

“Joining a leadership team that’s fully committed to flexibility and inclusion, Jess’ appointment is a reflection of the opportunities available to exceptional talent at Kimberly-Clark - regardless of their gender.”

“Under her guidance, the team has already delivered a series of operational efficiencies and milestones and I have no doubt that Jess’ strategic insights will support the business to enhance its supply chain and further improve customer and consumer experience in the years to come.”

Renton added:

“With a keen focus on best practice and a strong team of logistics and supply chain professionals around me, I’ve relished every opportunity that’s come my way at Kimberly-Clark - and couldn’t be more thrilled to be taking a step up as ANZ’s Head of Supply Chain.

“The business understands the role that operational excellence plays in not only supporting its growth, but the relationship it holds with customers and consumers across the region - and as we strive towards making further sustainability and efficiency improvements, I look forward to playing a key role in driving us forwards.”
