Atturra Partners With MyCISO To Launch Managed Security Program Service
Leading technology services provider, Atturra, has launched a strategic partnership with Australian SaaS start-up, MyCISO, to underpin its managed service for security program management in the education and commercial sectors.
Atturra’s managed security service offering provides organisations with a strategic cybersecurity roadmap coupled with ongoing management support. MyCISO powers and delivers the assessments and management of security programs via a SaaS interface in a cost effective, data-driven and scalable way.
Under the terms of the agreement, Atturra will deploy the MyCISO platform Assess module to underpin its service. This supports clients to choose the right framework, complete a data driven risk assessment based on control maturity, and design a bespoke and dynamic cyber uplift strategy which can be operationalised and reported on continuously.
Having completed a market evaluation, Atturra subsequently identified MyCISO as an effective way to transform traditional paper-based security assessments and security program management by using a sophisticated SaaS platform that aligns with Atturra’s strategy to further strengthen its clients’ security capabilities.
Osh Ranwaweera, General Manager – Connect and Secure for Atturra Managed Services, said, “Our clients are looking to uplift their security posture aligned to a robust security framework. Understanding the requirements of different frameworks can be complicated to manage. MyCISO combined with our expert team enables the development and execution of a comprehensive cyber strategy ordinarily reserved for larger enterprises.
“The Atturra cyber program managed service ensures our clients receive the best support available, aligned to industry best practices so we can ensure they stay ahead in the battle to remain secure from cyber-attacks.”
This latest partnership is part of a broader strategic move by MyCISO in choosing Atturra as a strategic growth partner based on its market penetration and success in the Australian education and commercial mid-market sectors.
Dane Meah, CEO at MyCISO, said, “A partnership between MyCISO and Atturra is an exciting agreement that will see us deliver greater value to the education and mid-market commercial sectors. Having the ability to identify cyber risks and align cyber uplifts to standards and frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST CSF and the ACSC Essential Eight is a key concern for IT and security teams in Australia, and the world over.
“When MyCISO was launched, the goal was to empower all businesses with an easier way to develop and manage their cyber uplift. Today, the country continues to face growing skills shortages both within businesses and the education sector, hampering efforts to fulfil Australia’s ambition to be the global leader in cybersecurity by 2030.”
“Atturra and MyCISO will address this significant gap in the market by offering an innovative solution to a cybersecurity challenge that is growing in velocity and veracity. The partnership promises exciting times ahead for businesses looking to bolster their cybersecurity practices in a world where digital threats are increasingly prevalent.”
