Rhiannon Rees, renowned Aussie business coach and best-selling author, wins prestigious global business coaching awards

Australian-born Rees awarded IAOTP 2019 ‘Top Business & Performance Coach of the Year’

Kingscliff, Australia, August 14, 2019: Rhiannon Rees, Australian-born international high-performance coach and best-selling author, has won the ‘Top Business and Performance Coach of the Year 2019’ award from the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). This  prestigious award acknowledges Rees’ outstanding leadership in the coaching industry. She was chosen ahead of one hundred finalists, from thousands of nominations around the world.

This award follows two other significant accolades this year. Rees was the winner of the 2019 Silver Stevie Award for ‘Innovation in Product Development’ in July and was also voted in the Top 30 Global Coaching Gurus – a position she has held for the past 6 years running. She is currently ranked #10, behind Tony Robbins and Jack Canfield.

The IAOTP is an invite-only international networking organisation that hand-picks and honours the world’s most distinguished professionals across different industries. The IAOTP's panel of experts receives thousands of nominations annually, and selects 100 Top Professionals per category. The judging panel reviews nominees over a  six month period based on accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity, affiliations and community contribution.

When asked what factors contributed to Rees winning this prestigious award, Stephanie Cirami, President of the IAOTP explained: “Choosing Rhiannon Rees for this award was an easy decision for our panel – how could she not win it? Through her business, the Conscious Coaching Collective, as well as her own community work, Rhiannon has empowered professionals all over the globe through her wisdom, experience and passion. We also found her to be humble and gracious, with a breathtaking personal growth story that inspires us all. We believe she will be an amazing asset for our organization and we look forward to honoring her at the Annual Award Gala Event in December.”

With over two decades of professional experience, Rees is well known as an international high-performance coach and a best-selling author. She is one of the world's most refined, ‘multi-modal’ self-development experts,  focusing on reversing self-limiting beliefs through a combination of 'business therapy' and robust business strategy. Her reputation is founded on her willingness to serve the needs of the most vulnerable people in our society just as vigorously as she nurtures the success of the business elite. Rees supports and coaches homeless people and single parents gratis, helping them to acquire jobs and accommodation, and reunite with their children, some of whom are in external care.

“I am thrilled and humbled to win this prestigious award from the IAOTP, as well as other accolades this year. I believe that my success is based on showing clients how to break free of self-limiting beliefs around wealth, health, success and freedom. While I am in the business of growing businesses and business champions, my approach is always to combine business success with conscious self-development and ethical action,” Rees said.

"It always fascinates me that in the U.S. coaches, trainers and therapists are par for the course, but here in Australia there is resistance to asking for this kind of help: perhaps it’s cultural, or part of our 'tall poppy syndrome'. My hope is that business coaching becomes better understood and more widely utilised here by business owners as an affordable, practical solution to personal and financial obstacles," Rees added.

As a results-driven professional, Rees helps build multi-million dollar companies and individuals. On average, Rees has increased clients’ business worth between 200% to 500% gross revenue annually. Rhiannon’s impressive stable of clients have included: the Spice Girls, Grey’s Anatomy, X-Files, Private Practice cast members, NRL Roosters, as well as the 2014 ABC’s The Conscious Farmer. She also has many local clients in the agricultural sector, retail and small business. Rees is an author of two best-selling books: How to Climb Mount Everest in Sandals: The Courage to Live an Ordinary Life, and Life is a Choice and the Choice is Yours.

Changing self-limiting beliefs and finding creative solutions to old problems were at the heart of a turnaround for sheep farmers John and Martine Traill: “Two and a half years of weekly coaching with Rhiannon totally changed our mindset and transformed our financial situation. We now see opportunity where we once saw problems - we can't help but make money," said John Traill. “Our sheep production figures are the best they’ve ever been, and we've added $2 million dollars to the value of our land. We are about to do the property deal of a lifetime, after which we will be financially free. This is financial freedom I could never have imagined, but the real joy is that we are so much happier, closer and stronger.”
