Fergus appoints Chief Revenue Officer to drive global expansion

Fergus, a leading job management software platform for trades and services businesses, announced the appointment of Barb Swanson as Chief Revenue Officer. The appointment comes after a period of significant growth for the company,  fuelled by a surge in demand from trades businesses looking for ways to better manage their operations during the pandemic.

Ms Swanson brings over 20 years of experience scaling SaaS companies globally and building out new revenue streams. She joins Fergus from Myriota where she was Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to that, she was the Managing Director and Vice President of APAC Sales at TeamViewer where she led business development across the region as well as built out the company's channel and partner programs.

At Fergus, Ms Swanson will lead the company's go-to-market strategy as it expands into the UK and beyond.

She will oversee the sales, marketing, and customer success strategy and resources while building out the sales operations infrastructure, including channel partner programs, to support global expansion and sustainable growth across multiple regions.

David Holmes, Fergus CEO said Ms Swanson's experience advancing global go-to-market strategies and her track record for delivering strong recurring revenue growth made her a perfect addition to the Leadership team.

“Barb will play a key role in accelerating our global momentum. Her deep knowledge of the technology industry and proven experience scaling SaaS businesses will be instrumental as we enter our next phase of growth. We are thrilled to have her as part of the team," he said.

Commenting on her appointment, Barb Swanson said: "Fergus is a great example of a software business that is solving genuine problems for customers. Purpose-built for trades and services businesses, it's transforming their workflow, reducing administration processes and making sure they get paid on time. Testament to this is the thousands of tradespeople logging into the App daily. That's something I'm excited to get behind"
