Xiamen, China--(Newsfile Corp. - November 24, 2023) - The BRICS New Industrial Revolution Exhibition 2023 opened at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center on November 16, 2023.

The exhibition covers an area of 11,000 square meters and features the BRICS Innovation Base Pavilion, Country Pavilion, Fujian Pavilion, Professional Pavilion, and Innovation Zone. It has attracted over 180 well-known domestic and foreign companies and institutions.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Initiative and the third anniversary of the establishment of the BRICS Innovation Base. As an important series of events under the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership, the BRICS Exhibition has been successfully held two times and has become a grand industry event showcasing new products, new technologies, and new business forms in the field of the BRICS New Industrial Revolution.

The 2023 BRICS New Industrial Revolution Exhibition focuses on the theme of "Deepening Partnership Cooperation, Promoting the New Industrialization of BRICS Countries," based on the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the manufacturing industry in BRICS countries. It concentrates on showcasing practical cooperation achievements in the field of the BRICS New Industrial Revolution, strives to build a platform for industrial supply-demand connection among BRICS countries, and actively supports quality projects in expanding market space.

The BRICS New Industrial Revolution Exhibition 2023 opens in Xiamen

On November 16, 2023, the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Forum was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province. Zhao Long, governor of Fujian province, Zhang Yunming, vice- minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Cui Yonghui, secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, Lin Ruiliang, vice-governor of Fujian province, Huang Wenhui, mayor of Xiamen, and representatives from BRICS and "BRICS Plus" countries, including Marcos Galvão, the Ambassador of Brazil to China, Alexey Gruzdev, deputy minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Sabino Vaca Narvaja, the Ambassador of Argentina to China, and Giuseppe Yoffreda Yorio, the Ambassador of Venezuela to China, as well as representatives from international organizations such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the New Development Bank attended the event in person or via video.

During the exhibition, a series of heavyweight events were held, including the 5th BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Forum, the final of the 2023 BRICS Industrial Innovation Competition, and the inaugural BRICS Innovation Base Entrepreneur Forum. Representatives from various sectors in BRICS countries in the fields of politics, industry, academia, and research were invited to have in-depth exchanges and discussions on the opportunities and challenges of the new industrial revolution, and to jointly provide suggestions and ideas for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in BRICS countries.
