Speaking about the restaurant feeding project, the ministry's founder, Apostle Johnson Suleman, said: "It's for the poor. If you can feed yourself, don't come in there. Just eat, go. That's the right way to use money. Stop throwing money around, feed the poor."

The restaurant, he also said, in the meantime, will operate for 12 hours every day but it will soon function on a 24-hour basis.

On the cost of the feeding program, he said, "We are spending six million Naira weekly, 24 million every month. Put all the budget in place, start it to be feeding at least a thousand people every week. Just walk in there, whether you are a Muslim you are a Christian, hunger, listen to me, has no religious inclination."

The World Bank has said that the number of poor Nigerians is projected to hit 95.1 million in 2022. Over 70 million Nigerians currently live in extreme poverty, representing 33 percent of the country's population.

The OFM feeding program and medical center for the poor are gestures the ministry expects to save thousands of Nigerians who may be unable to afford professional medical services or three square meals a day.

The OFM Medical Center provides world-class healthcare to Nigerians, especially those who cannot afford these services.

One of the doctors in charge at the OFM Medical Center, Dr. Ifijeh Patrick, said that the hospital will offer both antenatal and delivery services at a discount.

"It provides professional healthcare services to Nigerians at very affordable rates, in fact, what makes this medical center very remarkable is that it provides world-class healthcare to Nigerians, especially those who cannot afford these services," Ifijeh stated.

Dr. Lizzy Johnson Suleman, the wife of Johnson Suleman and co-founder of Omega Fire Ministries oversees the charitable works of the ministry.
