Micromem Announces Closing of Private Placement

Toronto, Ontario and New York, New York--(Newsfile Corp. - July 30, 2021) - Micromem Technologies Inc. (CSE: MRM) (OTCQB: MMTIF) ("Micromem" or the "Company") announces the closing of its private placement (the "Private Placement") of common shares at $0.08 CDN per share for aggregate gross proceeds of $307,836 CDN. The Company is issuing a total of 3,847,942 common shares in this Private Placement that closed on July 28, 2021. Micromem intends to use the proceeds for general working capital including debenture repayments. The common shares being issued pursuant to the Private Placement shall be subject to a four-month holding period. The Private Placement remains subject to final regulatory approvals. 

The Company also announces the repayment of a debenture totaling $96,300 USD.
