Hong Kong Kicks Off One-Year Countdown to the XXVIII ANOC General Assembly 2026

The XXVIII ANOC General Assembly is scheduled to take place in Hong Kong, China, from 7 to 10 December 2026 at AsiaWorld Expo. This landmark gathering is anticipated to welcome over 1,200 sports leaders, dignitaries, and representatives from 206 National Olympic Committees, the International Olympic Committee, International Federations, and Organising Committees of the Olympic Games. The Assembly's agenda will also feature thematic seminars and diverse exchange events. A key highlight will be the prestigious ANOC AWARDS 2026. This anticipated event will acknowledge the outstanding achievements of athletes and members of the sports community during the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

The General Assembly has been hosted all around the world. Recent host cities include: Cascais, Portugal (2024), Seoul, Republic of Korea (2022).

ANOC's member NOCs are entitled to participate in the General Assembly, represented by their delegates, in addition to the members of the Executive Council of ANOC. Representatives from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), International Federations (IFs), Organising Committees of Olympic Games (OCOGs) and other Olympic stakeholders are also invited to attend the General Assembly. Apart from the General Assembly, ANOC also invites partners and exhibitors (from the business field) to explore commercial interests and opportunities.

Every four years the General Assembly elects the President, the Senior Vice-President, and other members of the Executive Council. At the upcoming XXVIII ANOC General Assembly Hong Kong, China, 2026, elections will be conducted.
