Exploring The Future Of FMCG Retail

  • Written by Tess Sanders Lazarus

Circana’s highly anticipated annual State of the Industry event is the region’s largest gathering of industry professionals in the FMCG sector. It will take place on 15 November as an online event. Considered one of the most important events of the year, the event will explore the economic outlook, the challenges and opportunities facing the industry and how to drive growth in an inflationary environment.

Sydney, Australia – November 2023 – Circana, the world’s leading advisor on consumer behaviour, will host its highly anticipated State of the Industry event: Exploring the Future of FMCG Retail, online on Wednesday 15 November 2023.  The three-hour-long event will bring together experts from across Australia and New Zealand to provide unparalleled insights and in-depth analysis into the state of FMCG.  Over 3,000 have registered to attend this event.

Alistair Leathwood, Head of Media and Analytics for Asia Pacific at Circana: “Our annual State of the Industry event has become the leading forum for industry professionals across the FMCG industry wanting to understand the health and future of the industry.   This year we look forward to another focus-driven event that will provide attendees with a 360-degree view of the industry and the issues, risks, challenges and opportunities facing it.

“Last year, we focused on the aftermath of the COVID pandemic and its impact on the APAC region. This year, we will be focusing on the building and growth of the industry and the cost-of-living challenges facing shoppers.  The event will also cover how to leverage the media to access and engage with the market to attract shoppers.  Insightful and backed by our extensive data and analysis to guide the forecasts, this year’s event, which is free for attendees, is expected to exceed last year’s registration numbers.”
