Next month, Lifeline Canberra and Lifeline Narrm’s Chief Executive Officer Carrie Leeson will join the discussion on Australia’s mental health crisis at the
InterEdge Summit (15–16 April). The event will bring together more than 18 Australian and international leaders, policymakers, practitioners and those with lived experience to tackle workplace mental health and safety, including global keynote speaker Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

Taking place in Melbourne, the InterEdge Summit will examine governance, accountability, culture, and lived experience, delivering practical tools and clear, actionable frameworks to build mentally healthy, safe and high-performing workplaces. New findings reveal that nine in ten Australian workers are experiencing work-related distress, while one in five report extreme stress (Suicide Prevention Australia, Spotlight Report), showing the critical importance of this national conversation.

Joining Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is Dr. Amy Cuddy, leading social psychologist; Jelena Dokic, renowned tennis star and mental health advocate; Allan Sparkes CV, OAM, VA, FRSN, former Deputy Commissioner of the NSW Mental Health Commission; Hugh van Cuylenburg, founder of The Resilience Project; and more. A dedicated Q&A will be facilitated with Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, by Hon. Dr Brendan Nelson.

Sessions will explore psychosocial safety, burnout, job insecurity, leadership responsibility, digital overload and more. The twoday pass includes access to keynotes, panels and workshops, with all proceeds supporting Lifeline Narrm’s 24/7

crisis support services in Victoria, community education and suicide prevention programs, and the ongoing support of volunteer telephone crisis supporters.

Carrie Leeson, CEO of Lifeline Canberra and Lifeline Narrm, is available for

interviews regarding the InterEdge Summit and the role of workplace leaders in supporting mental health.
