Belinda Giles takes on CFO role at Architectus

  • Written by Business Daily Media

Architectus welcomes Chief Financial Officer and Principal, Belinda Giles, to its national leadership team – a key appointment in the evolution of the architecture and design practice.

A Chartered Accountant with an international career in Finance, Belinda brings extensive experience in partner-owned businesses, establishing the systems and processes that keep them flourishing.

Most recently, she was CFO of Brennan IT, playing a key role in fulfilling the company’s growth agenda. In her four years there, she developed the Finance team’s capabilities and systems along with their capacity to add commercial and strategic value to the business.

Belinda also held senior positions with Parsons Brinckerhoff, later acquired by WSP. In addition to the integration expertise she gained in that phase of her career, she has significant experience in tax, valuations and systems across both employee-owned and private companies.

Belinda’s career has taken her from Cape Town to London to Sydney, where she will now be based with Architectus, leading both Finance and IT for the practice.

CEO Ray Brown said of the appointment: “Belinda will be a key contributor to our leadership team, ensuring we have the right systems, processes and people to support our strategy towards becoming Australia’s leading architecture and design practice.”

New CFO Belinda Giles said: “As a practice, Architectus has been on the rise for years thanks to the team’s vision and dedication from the start. I’m looking forward to playing a part in the next, exciting phase of the business.”
