  • Written by a contributor

Award-winning startup, Vonto, has today announced new product integrations to its innovative business insights app with the addition of MYOB and MailChimp, bringing better informed, data driven decisions to Australia and New Zealand’s booming startup and SMB community.

Vonto's introduction of MYOB completes integrations with all the major accountancy players, providing business owners with a deeper understanding of their financial metrics. To put business owners in a better position for marketing success, the addition of MailChimp now allows Vonto’s customers to analyse metrics from the most widely used eDM platform against their social media performance.

A startup itself and early star of the Commonwealth Bank’s venture scaling entity, x15ventures, Vonto plugs a businesses’ key platforms, such as Xero, Facebook and Google Analytics, into its app. Each morning, Vonto analyses data from the platforms to translate any trends, anomalies and indicators into a simple dashboard, supported with 10 personalised insights that enable business owners to make quick and informed decisions.

The app enhancement comes as Vonto celebrates its first birthday and growth of its customer base, helping thousands of businesses, 70 per cent of which have four or less employees. From activewear designers and florists, to cafe and restaurant owners, builders and more, Vonto supports a broad range of Australia and New Zealand’s newest SMBs and startups.

Elliot Cousins, Managing Director of Vonto, said, “While 2020 was an incredibly challenging year for many, COVID-19 has fuelled entrepreneurialism in both Australia and New Zealand. A vast number of small and exciting businesses have sprung up over the last year – in fact, 25 per cent of our most active customers started their companies in 2020 – while others have used this unique time to supercharge growth.

“At Vonto our mission is to support and enhance these innovative businesses. We consolidate their data into meaningful and easy to understand insights, to help them to make smarter business decisions, every day. The integration of the new platforms will help us to further support businesses to flourish,” Cousins said.

With the integration of MYOB and MailChimp, Vonto now connects nine different platforms to its app, all of which are the most commonly adopted business tools. Others include Xero, QuickBooks, Vend, Shopify, Google Analytics, Facebook and Instagram, collectively offering insights into a business’ cash flow, social media engagement, website traffic and more.
