American Airlines Snaps Up Australian Chef’s Inflight Cooking School



“Food Destination Travel meets Inflight Cooking Classes.”



American Airlines has snapped up Australian Chef Mel Alafaci's Inflight Cooking School. Renowned Australian culinary expert and business woman, Chef Mel, affectionately known as "The Happy Chef," is thrilled to announce this innovative concept that combines her passion for cooking, teaching and travelling.


Chef Mel says: "Food destination travel is at an all-time high, so it made sense to combine travel and cooking. As an entrepreneur I was so excited I could combine my two passions, and that is how Inflight Cooking School was born." 

 

This unique culinary adventure is now on American Airlines, and coming to more airline inflight entertainment portals soon, with the content just being released through Encore. 

 

"My Inflight Cooking School is set to entertain and transform hungry foodies. The series offers passengers the chance to gain culinary confidence while soaring through the skies on the way to their chosen foodie destination". 

 

This entertaining cooking show allows the passenger to learn 'cheffy' skills they can then try at home, leaving passengers with skills that will last a lifetime.

Under the expert guidance of Chef Mel, passengers will embark on a gastronomic journey and make delicious discoveries along the way.

 

The program includes:

● Interactive Cooking Lessons: Chef Mel will teach fun and delicious recipes, providing hands-on instruction to help you level up your cooking skills.

● Culinary Tips and Tricks: Learn how to become more confident and 'cheffy' in your kitchen with Chef Mel's tantalising tips and tricks and shortcuts, that will last a lifetime.
