Green by Nature

Firm emerges as Australasia’s largest premium open space maintenance brand following merger

Four of Australia and New Zealand's most well-established landscaping businesses have formally come together, leading to the creation of Australasia's largest and most-awarded landscaping services brands.

Launched as Green by Nature, the new brand brings together Australian market leaders Green Options, Skyline Landscape Services and Super Gardens, alongside New Zealand's largest and most diverse parks, grounds and facility management organisations, Recreational Services.

While the newly formed Group consists of 2,000 specialists across both countries, Green by Nature’s primary focus will be the ability to deliver increased capabilities and innovative solutions to their customers, which consists of a blend of commercial contracts, councils, large-scale sports grounds and educational institutions across Australia and New Zealand. The Group will set new industry benchmarks for quality and innovation, as well as becoming a destination for industry talent.

"Our strategy is clear: harness the strengths of each company’s individual capabilities and extend them across the broader Group. This deep expertise, combined with the high quality of the four founding businesses, will enable Green by Nature to pioneer a new era in the Australian and New Zealand landscaping industry” says Tony Herman, Founder, Green Options.

“Driven by an unwavering commitment to quality, we've positioned ourselves as the go-to provider for open spaces across ANZ and the destination for industry talent. Born from top-tier companies, Green by Nature's mission is crafting green spaces that resonate with all. It's our unparalleled service and dedication that set us apart.” says Gino Sorrentino, Group CFO

The vision to bring the four businesses together was led by Tony Herman and Mercury Capital, following speculation over the last two years that they had partnered with the Sydney-based Green Options. In 2021, Green Options’ acquired Super Gardens, the independent leader in the Victorian market, consolidating the former’s experience in maintaining and preparing the grounds for everything from international cricket fixtures and NRL matches, to sports fields owned by universities and schools with Super Garden’s specialist services across commercial grounds maintenance and landscape construction services.

Shortly following the merger, Recreational Services, one of New Zealand's largest and most diverse parks, grounds and facility management organisations, and Skyline Landscape Services, a national commercial landscape and grounds maintenance industry leader with over 25 years experience completed the puzzle. Signalling a new era of growth and innovation, the brand reflects a significant milestone that has brought together the businesses’ people and capabilities to set the platform for the future.

Driven by an ambition to develop a global and forward-thinking green space company, the new Green by Nature brand will set new standards for customer experience and sustainability throughout the industry.
