SEVENROOMS EXPANDS LEADERSHIP TEAM WITH NEW CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

Guest experience and retention platform hires Brent-Stig Kraus from ChowNow to accelerate the company’s growth in a new era for hospitality technology

AUSTRALIA - 20 JANUARY 2022 - SevenRooms, a guest experience and retention platform for the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce the hiring of Brent-Stig Kraus as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In his role, Kraus will further SevenRooms’ commitment to accelerating the expansion of the platform's global customer base by identifying high growth sales and partnership opportunities.

As SevenRooms enters a new growth stage for the business, Kraus has been brought on board to grow revenue with a customer-centric mindset while continuing to develop valuable partnerships for the company. In this role, Kraus will be responsible for leading and scaling sales, customer success and revenue operations functions for SevenRooms across the globe. He will play a key part in helping shape company culture while building out the revenue function.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to add an experienced leader like Brent to our team,” said Joel Montaniel, CEO & Co-Founder at SevenRooms. “He has hit the ground running since joining SevenRooms, and his impact is already being felt across the organisation as we head deeper into 2022. Throughout his career, Brent has played a pivotal role in helping disruptive SaaS companies scale into multi-billion dollar businesses through his deep sales technology prowess and a willingness to evolve and innovate with a people-first mindset. His expertise working with companies that transform industries and break the status quo will help drive SevenRooms to new heights in the years to come as we bring our mission-critical platform to more hospitality businesses globally. This includes his experience in coaching world-class teams to success as our business moves into a new growth stage. With his customer-centric approach to business, I am excited to work side-by-side and learn from Brent as he joins our leadership team here at SevenRooms.”

Kraus brings over 20 years of SaaS leadership experience to the role, scaling sales and customer success organisations across several industry verticals. Most recently, he served as SVP of Sales, Onboarding and Success at ChowNow, an online food ordering platform, where he played a key role in the triple-digit growth of the company during his tenure. Prior to ChowNow, he served in sales leadership and executive roles at MINDBODY, Coursera, Invoca, Lynda.com and Dow Jones. Collectively, he has worked with SaaS companies that have been acquired in transactions totaling over $4.5 billion, and played a role in raising more than $500 million in capital throughout his career. Kraus holds a B.A. in English from UC Santa Barbara.

“As the hospitality industry enters a new era, I’m inspired by the resilience, commitment and transparency SevenRooms has shown not only towards its operator clients, but as a mission-driven, people-first company,” said Brent-Stig Kraus, CRO at SevenRooms. “Over the last 18 months, there has been a critical shift in the way hospitality operators approach their businesses. The pandemic has not only accelerated the adoption of technology platforms like SevenRooms, but highlighted the importance of choosing vendors that enable operators to own their guest data and relationships. A shift away from dependence on third-party marketplace to data-driven direct platforms is playing out across the hospitality industry, and the time is right for companies like SevenRooms to capitalise on this monumental shift. I am excited to join this innovative team to expand SevenRooms’ reach even further while empowering operators across the globe to increase revenue and repeat business through a direct, data-driven approach to the guest experience.”
