Chillio Aims to Standardize Cannabis Industry and Build Community

Los Angeles, California--(Newsfile Corp. - February 22, 2022) - Chillio Inc.[1], a new startup launched in 2021, is California's first AI-powered, multi-vendor, cannabis e-commerce platform that provides an industry-wide product catalog. This catalog assigns QR codes to products that its partners, the dispensaries, carry.
By employing AIM (Artificial Intelligence Merge) technology on its platform, Chillio has successfully identified the distinct products sold by different dispensaries and combined them into a single platform. With their unique offerings, the team at Chillio Inc. is looking to fill in the gaps created from the lack of standardization in the cannabis market.

A significant issue is the lack of standardization for cannabis products. Chillio's standardization of cannabis will minimize duplication of products in the marketplace, providing more clarity and less misinterpretation of product variants. It will also enable cannabis businesses to effectively show comparison pricing to their customers, as well as clear the "clutter" through seamlessly integrating Chillio standards into businesses' POS systems down the road.
In addition, the introduction of the alternative to a UPC system, i.e. unique Chillio QR identification technology for cannabis, will provide a higher level of accountability across this growing industry and provide advantages to cannabis users by:
- Reducing time spent searching for products by eliminating redundancy of products
- Creating the ability to accurately compare prices (a feature that does not currently exist in delivery marketplace applications)
- Creating universal discount programs based on specific dispensaries instead of brands
As a result, cannabis customers can search for the exact product they desire, compare prices, and make decisions as well-informed consumers. The app also provides the first omnichannel loyalty program to its consumers. Chillio users will receive 5% cashback on all of their purchases, with participating dispensaries still able to provide discounts on their products on their own as well. Additionally, Chillio offers users a 1% cashback bonus of any cannabis purchase, made outside of the Chillio platform, offline, as long as the receipt of said purchase is scanned via its App.
Positive Social Impact:
In addition to creating an application that introduces much-needed standardization for the cannabis consumer, Chillio aims to demonstrate the beneficial effect the legal cannabis marketplace can have on the local community by supporting small businesses (the dispensaries) along with charities in which the company operates. Chillio has created a charitable program within the application where a percent of the users' proceeds will be donated to local charities of their choice.
